SALE OF PRIVATE VEHICLES
Tecomproelauto.com offers a unique service in the market: a real and effective channel for the sale of used vehicles, offering their owners quality, speed, and efficiency. This service consists of:
A) ONLINE QUOTE:
– The user will be able to request an online quote for their vehicle, for which they must complete the fields requested on the website.
– Certain items must be reported, as their presence or absence can directly affect the quote provided by Tecomproelauto.com.
The quote provided is based on the data supplied by the user, assuming that the entered data is accurate. This value does not constitute a binding offer, and the initial quote may change after a physical inspection of the vehicle.
– The offer resulting from the online quote will be valid for 5 business days, without prejudice to the fact that it will not be binding until the inspection has been carried out as detailed in the following letter.
Only vehicles whose make, year, model, or mileage are listed in the website's application can be quoted. If the vehicle you entered does not meet any of the requirements for a quote, please contact us at +506-6230 9408.
B) VEHICLE INSPECTION:
Tecomproelauto.com offers various mechanisms for reviewing vehicles for sale. Any offer submitted by the estimator will be confirmed and binding only after inspection, as agreed upon by the parties. These mechanisms may include:
- Personal inspection of the vehicle at the branch:
– Once the user has obtained the preliminary online quote, they must schedule an appointment for the physical vehicle inspection.
– Once the date and time for the inspection have been confirmed, the user will receive a confirmation email at the email address entered in the form.
– The inspection can be carried out at the branch that best suits the customer, according to the availability of Tecomproelauto.com
– The inspection will aim to verify the information provided by the user when requesting the quote and to check the condition of the vehicle.
– The owner must be present at the time of the inspection or designate a third party with sufficient power to grant a sales mandate to Tecomproelauto.com.
– Prior to the inspection, the vehicle owner must declare any damage or collision that the vehicle has suffered and of which they are aware, so that the inspector can take the appropriate measures and precautions.
– The vehicle owner declares that the data entered regarding the vehicle's condition on the Tecomproelauto.com website is accurate and accepts that the final offer may vary according to the actual condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection at the Tecomproelauto.com premises.
– Tecomproelauto.com will not be obliged to make an offer after the vehicle inspection.
- Personal inspection of the vehicle at the customer's home:
– Tecomproelauto.com may offer the vehicle owner the option of carrying out the personal inspection at the owner's home, on a date and time to be agreed by the parties.
– The owner must be present at the time of the inspection or designate a third party with sufficient power to grant a sales mandate to Tecomproelauto.com
– If the Tecomproelauto.com inspector is more than 30 minutes late for the scheduled time, they will notify the owner either by phone or email, which the customer registered with Tecomproelauto.com, to reschedule or cancel the appointment.
– If the owner is more than 30 minutes late delivering the vehicle for inspection, Tecomproelauto.com may leave without performing the inspection. In this case, if the customer wishes to schedule a new inspection, Tecomproelauto.com will charge a home inspection fee of 40,000 colones plus VAT, plus travel expenses.
- 3. Remote vehicle inspection:
– Only in cases determined by Tecomproelauto.com, will it be able to offer the customer a guided remote inspection.
– The customer must send photographs and provide vehicle data as requested by the Tecomproelauto.com inspection technician.
– Once all the requested information has been received, Tecomproelauto.com will be able to adjust the offer provided by the quote tool.
– This new offer will only be binding once the customer delivers the vehicle to Tecomproelauto.com and it is verified that the photographs and special conditions of the vehicle delivered remotely match reality.
C) DELIVERY AND PAYMENT:
– If the client agrees with the final valuation provided, legal documents will be signed, the vehicle will be formally delivered, and immediate payment will be made via bank transfer or cash, according to what is determined in the negotiation.
– The customer must provide Tecomproelauto.com with all the vehicle documentation necessary to be able to market and transfer it.
– In the event that the vehicle transfer cannot be completed, Tecomproelauto.com reserves the right to demand a full refund of the amount paid and to pursue any corresponding civil or criminal actions.
– Tecomproelauto.com will only make the payment once it has the legal documents of the vehicle, the sales mandate has been signed and it is in possession of the respective vehicle.
– The client will be responsible for the truthfulness and authenticity of the data, documents and information provided.
– Once the vehicle has been delivered and the agreed price has been paid, Tecomproelauto.com will determine the form, date and price of sale.
– If the sale price obtained by Tecomproelauto.com is higher than the price paid to the owner, the owner will not be entitled to claim this additional amount, which for all purposes is understood as a sales commission paid to Tecomproelauto.com. Likewise, if the sale price obtained is lower than the price paid to the owner, Tecomproelauto.com will not be able to request reimbursement from the owner for the higher amount paid.
D) OTHERS:
– The user accepts and is fully aware that Tecomproelauto.com may use the data of the delivered vehicle, its documents, background, photographs or others for the purposes of its commercialization.
RIGHT OF USE
1- The use of the online appraisal and the in-person appraisal is for personal, non-commercial use only. The user may not use or disseminate, in whole or in part, the data obtained, or in summary form, to create their own database in any media.
2- User activities that aim to undermine or hack the functioning of Tecomproelauto.com services or hinder them are prohibited and punishable by law.
3- Integration or linking with the service provided by Tecomproelauto.com is not permitted.
4- The user consents and accepts that the personal data used by Tecomproelauto.com for the fulfillment of the purposes set forth herein.
USE OF THE SERVICE
Tecomproelauto.com assumes no liability for technical errors, particularly for the constant and uninterrupted availability of the website or for the correct reproduction of content entered by the user. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
1- The protection of personal data and user privacy are our priority. By accepting the terms and conditions, you agree to include your submitted data in an automated repository to receive information, offers, promotions related to our brand partners, and our affiliates.
2- This data, including your email address, will be stored so we can offer improved features and services tailored to the needs of each user. This information will never be sold or shared with third parties.

The opening hours for this service are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The materials on the Site, including without limitation, text, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features, and the like ("Materials") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein ("Marks"), are owned by or licensed to Tecomproelauto.com and are subject to the intellectual property rights of applicable laws.
